In January 2018 Ferdinand Bilstein opened its new distribution hub on Markham Vale in Derbyshire.
The 212,771 sq ft high specification unit, is bespoke to the specific operational requirements of Ferdinand Bilstein UK, a world leading specialist in the automotive aftermarket. The programme of works involved in-depth collaboration between Henry Boot Developments, Ferdinand Bilstein UK, Derbyshire County Council and appointed contractor Bowmer & Kirkland.
The investment by the German car component manufacturer has created 150 new jobs in the region, and future expansion plans will create another 250 potential jobs.
We chose Markham Vale for its key location and immediate transport links which ultimately played a part in our decision to move here.
