LF&E is a specialist nationwide refrigerated transport company; as a specialist in pharmaceutical, medical, healthcare and food industries, LF&E provide a same day, temperature controlled refrigerated transport courier service.
In Summer 2019, LF&E contacted Invest in Derbyshire as part of its national expansion plans; the company was seeking a new base in the South Derbyshire area.
Invest in Derbyshire provided an initial property proposal and LF&E were able to secure a unit on Orbit Business Park in Swadlincote. The unit is 6000sq ft and LF&E have invested in the region £100,000 in the new facility, with a new office fit-out and cold stores installation.
Invest in Derbyshire has provided follow-on support including local knowledge, recruitment and details about funding opportunities in the area and LF&E have already created 22 new full-time roles at the Swadlincote base, with more recruitment to follow.
