Loungers is an award-winning, all day neighbourhood café-bar and dining business. Co-founded by three friends, the Lounge brand aims to have hospitality and familiarity at its core. With an independent culture and focus on the local community.
Loungers has grown rapidly since its inception in 2002. In 2019 the company had grown to almost 160 Loungers nationwide. In Autumn 2018, Invest in Derbyshire contacted Loungers about market town opportunities in the county and provided market intelligence to support the business case for investment in Buxton.
In October, Loungers added to its existing Derby and Derbyshire portfolio by opening Sacro Lounge at The Springs Shopping Centre. Loungers invested £750,000 on transforming the former Trespass store and has created 25 new jobs in the Derbyshire spa town.
